Misfortune LS is currently open for recruitment. We are looking for players who want to have fun and enjoy what the end-game has to offer. We are a group of people who have been together since our first failed Dynamis-Sandoria run back in June of 2019. We didn't expect to form an end-game LS together, but we all had a drive to work together and down content -- eventually, we grew and expanded our end-game to farming sky and sea, ownms, HNMs, Wyrms, bc's/ks99's, Dynamis, Bubu burns, and so on. In the last few months we have greatly expanded the LS to claiming King HNMs and have nearly dominated the scene. We would eventually like to get some Tiamat & Jorg claims.
In order to apply, you must fulfill the following minimum requirements:
-Have access to sky and on your way towards sea access.
-Have at least one 75 job and currently working on a 2nd job. (Dual-boxers welcomed!)
-Decently geared (e.g., HQ Staves).
-Be active and attend events!
Ultimately, we want potential recruits to be kind, loyal, active, and determined. The LS members are genuinely friendly people who balance work-life and playing FFXI. We are not interested in people who don't want to participate in events or are here just for loot. We are looking for quality people who are devoted to making the LS a fun place to play when we are not busy with our real lives. Most of us are laid back and friendly, and would hope that you are too!
We have a fairly standard event schedule (Tue-Sat) that does provide structure, especially for those needing to catch up on their equipment. If HNMs are in our time zone, we will typically make them a priority over other LS events. We run events in eastern standard time, with most events normally starting around 7-8pm EST.
In terms of loot, the LS keeps track of attendance for every event and HNM camp. These attendance points are used to lot on gear. Each month a small % of the points are decayed and paid out to members in gil.
