Ok so I’ve tried every update restart reboot and different controllers and still no success, why is this a issue? Never had this problem in the 2 years I been playing till now. Please anyone have any help?

Any other solutions been found for this? Just started happening tonight. It's very random and last for about 20-30 seconds at a time. Keyboard controls work fine even when controller is lagging.

I had this same problem using a ps4 controller when using DS4. I got rid of it by selecting "Hide DS4 controller" in the ds4 settings.

Might be your Ps4 controller . Thats 100% what my issue was . I have tried the game with and w/o ds4 , on 2 different pc's . One of them was windows 7 , and my new one is windows 10 .

Ended up switching my controllers had no issue for months , one day accidently plugged in the old ps4 controller and noticed the lag again . Quick switch out and no lag. My only theory behind which controllers cause issue is 1 of my controllers came with my ps4 , the other I'm pretty sure is a knock off , Meant to look like the OG ps4 . This one came from some random website. Honestly cant tell the difference at this point have no idea which is the real one and which isnt.

maybe try this thread , didnt help for me at all , but have heard it helped others .

I know its not an optimal solution to buy controllers til one works , but if there is any way you could try out some others id do that.
