Im looking to buy a cheap laptop to play again. What are the minimum specifications to run Nasomi? |

Almost anything that cost more than $300 made after 2011 should do the trick. |

This game is so old that you should be able to run it on any fairly modern laptop with no upgrades. I bought a refurbished HP in 2016 for £220 and can dualbox with no issues. And because the game was designed to run on a 56k connection, your McDonald's wifi should do just fine as well.

True enough game was developed for 56k data fax, but nasomi and most dsp has some custom packets and such, you're going to want about 2mbps minimum, and a ping of 150ms or so, otherwise the server becomes borderline unplayable in some content. The data rate is tiny for casual play, on a tethered hotspot with a 5gb limit, running 4 clients between my and my lady, 10-15 hours logged in per day, we barely ate through 3gb each month. |
