So far the wiki tutorial has been working for me except two issues:

1.) errors:

When copy+pasting the editted lines in the install.bat file, I got these two errors:

regsvr32 "C:\NasomiXI\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer\patchfiles\PlayOnlineViewer\viewe003c:err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.
regsvr32 "C:\NasomiXI\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer\patchfiles\PlayOnlineViewer\viewer\com\app.dll" /s

Z:\Users\USER>regsvr30044:err:winediag:SECUR32_initNTLMSP ntlm_auth was not found or is outdated. Make sure that ntlm_auth >= 3.0.25 is in your path. Usually, you can find it in the winbind package of your distribution.
regsvr32 "C:\NasomiXI\SquareEnix\PlayOnlineViewer\viewer\ax\polmvf.dll" /s

1.) running

Despite the errors, I proceeded with the instructions and got to the final step. When I input the wine cmd to run the game, I get the autologin line where I successfully put in my username and password only to get this:

Nothing happens after this. The game doesn't open. As far as I know, I'm running the most recent stable release of wine.
I should also note that wine terminal cannot find config.exe to run windowed mode, as suggested.

I don't know what to do from here, so any help would be great!

Thanks.

Things wont work if you cant register the DLLs.

Is there a way for me to register them?

I wrote the guide to installing it on linux but I didn't run into this issue. You'll have to find out why that isn't working for you on your own.

I'm having the same exact problem, did you end up finding a solution?

I was also not able to run regsvr32 through wine cmd, so instead just used `wine regsvr32 file.dll` which seemed to successfully work for most. But numerous files gave me the same exact error posted above and a few just said they couldn't register the dll's. Very frustrating

Some may not register. Not sure which are actually required to get the game to work. That's just all the ones the installer registers.

I figured as much since TetraMaster and a few others wouldn't really be used, but the game won't even load for me. Able to login in, get a bunch of fixme errors after it logs in and just closes immediately after ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Been trying to install this game tonight and am getting the same issues mentioned here. Any solution yet?

I tried on a mac on and off(mostly off) for a month or two last year and never got it working.

After downloading the installer of this web and Wine as shown in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JlXZ0pHD8S8) but for Yosemite, I could not open the "boot.exe" file from the folder "ffxi-bootmod" inside "Ashita". So I tried to replace the "imm32.dll.so" file with the one in your web page both inside the "wine" folder and the "wine64" folder, but I do not know what else to do because I still can not open it. What do you think I should do?

PS: Thank you very much and apologize for my English.
