Hey all. :)

I used to play, years ago, on Titan. 2004-2010. Having major nostalgia issues right now, so here I am.

I'm sure it's me, or us, as my hubby is having the same problem. We both have created an account here, clearly, and attempted to create an account in-game. But when we click on the NasomiXI icon on the desktop, it asks us if we want 1080p, 1600x900, etc. Then when we choose 1080p, we get prompted to either 1, login or 2, create new account. Either option though does the same thing...when we go to type in the password, it doubles the letters, so it's ridiculously long. Is this a known issue? The user name is fine, it's just the password.

Itching to play soon, so I'm hoping someone has advice.

Thanks!

I appreciate your help, really. But I'm still having issues.

"Fix: Open the Nasomi launcher. Right click the configuration you want to launch. Click edit. In the "Command" box, add --user yourusername --pass yourpassword"

I do this. I added the "-- username --pass mypassword" to the command line. Saved the configuration.

Then what? Because when I choose "login" on the prompt after, the username is fine but it still does double letters on PW. Clearly, I'm either missing something(possible) or I just need to be led. ><

Please help.

"-- username --pass mypassword"? No it's --user YOURUSERNAME --pass YOURPASSWORD.

If you're being asked for a password, you didn't enter it properly.

You do not enter this in the "command line" (the black box that shows up where it's doubling your entry to password), you enter this in the "Command" box in the launcher. Just follow the instructions given on the wiki page EXACTLY.

Thank you!

It turns out I was doing it somewhat correctly. I just erased the word username by accident, lol. Once I re-added that, I was able to get logged in.

Sort of. Now the DOS launcher just closes after the "hairpin applied". Any ideas there?

Sorry to be such a pain.

Did you move your game files?

Nope. I took a chance though and uninstalled/re-installed. That worked.

Thank you for your patience. :)

Figured out the reason,

need to keep the whole line rather than only having the user/pass bit in the command line...

like
Code:
--server nasomi.com --hairpin --user USERNAME --pass PASSWORD

The wiki says to ADD to the box. Don't remove what's there.

The gif represents what it should look like if you've used the newest installer. Most people have used it.

Just follow the instructions -very carefully- and you will not have problems.
