Im using input mapper and have ds4 too. My ps4 controller will vibrate when i click vibration test but thats it. I tried disabling all other devices that I could. I feel like I'm close to getting it working cause at least its vibrating now. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Im on windows 10 btw and I used this laptop to play nasomi like two years ago. |

Hey! So I use an Xbox controller but a couple of us have been working on getting those fixed and might have some solutions there that may work for PS4, too. The thread should be close to the top. |

You need to use the "Hide Ds4 controller" setting and connect the controller while discord/steam is closed. Then make sure to run the FFXI Config as admin and use Setup E. Have helped several friends get their Ps4 controller working so this should do the trick. |

UPDATE: So I actually got an old ps2 controller to work with a usb adapter I bought at Radio Shack like ten years ago. i also installed a program called xbox360ce and unplugged my mouse. Thanks to everyone who responded. I'll try again one day to get my ps4 controller to work. |

I finally got the ps4 controller to work by changing the usb I plugged the controller into... Yeah not feeling very smart right about now but thought I'd post this to save somone else the headache maybe. |
