Post subject:  Ps4 Controller Issues

Trying to set up my Ps4 controller wirelessly. I've looked through and tried many of the suggestions on other boards. But to no avail. I do not have a fancy keyboard, or any other controllers set up. I am able to connect my controller to other games just fine, but for some reason it does not work via config ( in admin mode ) or in game, although the vibration test works just fine.

If I click off the application, I am able to work the controller again as normal. Any ideas on what I can do?

Thanks.

--update--

I managed to get the trackpad on the ps4 controller to work while in game, but the other buttons are still unable to work. As of right now, I am just able to move the mouse around with the ps4 controller track pad. Perhaps this track pad is acting as a 2nd controller?

Alright, I seem to have solved the issue.

The problem has nothing to do with the controller, and instead has to do with Nvidia's Geforce In-Game Overlay feature.

For some reason, this interferes with DS4Window's ability to turn on the 'hide ds4 controller' option. So unless you turn off this overlay, you will not actually be ticking the ds4 controller option properly (even though it will show a tick mark).

The moment I did this, the inputs started working through the config. Took about 3 hours to figure this simple fix out, hope this saves people the trouble of dealing with this issue.

TL:DR

Turn off Geforce In-Game Overlay.
Tick "Hide DS4 Controller" in 'Settings' of DS4Windows
In Admin Mode (Use Alternate Setup E) in the Nasomi Config thing.
