I've tried reinstalling the game a couple of times. but the game continuously freezes |

Boot.exe is not responding game is basically unplayable for me right now |

I was streaming earlier... basically keep getting hit with. "boot.exe is not responding" i can stream again if you want to see, its still happening. |

That sounds like your install is totally broken. Reinstall using the nasomi installer. |

Update, I fixed the issue this morning. Day 1: I had a controller connected to my pc, had this enabled Gamepad on in the settings. After a few days i got comfortable with playing with keyboard + Mouse so ii unplugged the controller from my PC. that's when i started to experience issues with the game client. This morning, i disabled the gamepad in the settings and the game has been running way better no freezes or anything. TLDR: If experiencing issues with the client and your NOT using a controller, uncheck gamepad in the ffxi settings. |
