Hi everyone!

Im trying to get the game to run on my mac and followed the guide http://nasomi.com/wiki/index.php?title= ... using_WINE but as other posters have stated i cant find any dll files to overwrite with the one downloaded..

i have installed everything (wine and ashita/game) with no problems, however when i double click the boot.exe in my directory nothing happens.. i tried to run it through terminal as suggested in the guide but terminal keeps saying its the wrong pathway.

Anyone that could offer some help would be greatly appreciated! :)

If your path has spaces, put quotes around it when you write it in your terminal.

I tried using the advised path found in the guide and also type it myself but neither works. I'm unsure if I am supposed to write it in the set language for the computer or if it's English regardless of comp language..

But, using the icon is not an option then??

Just find a way to open your terminal to the folder with boot.exe and type ./boot.exe

Sorry, it seems out of the dozens of people who have installed this on their macs, not one had gone out of their way to explain to others how to simply do that.

i found how to open terminal to folder but when i execute "./boot.exe" i get the following reply: "-bash: ./boot.exe: cannot execute binary file"

any ides? @Nabutso :)

not working either.. :(

"wine boot.exe" = command not found
"./wine boot.exe" = no such file or directory
"/wine boot.exe" = no such file or directory"

It sounds like you don't have wine installed if it says that wine isn't a command

erm.. thats weird.. i have installed wine stable version (called wine stable) and also wine along with winebottler. still same error occurs..

through some various guesses and programs (wine, wine bottler , homebrew ) i managed to install the game and start it up via Terminal, unfortunately i get stuck in a login loop. :( i press 1 for login and enter my account details, and it just reverts back to press 1 or 2 again..
i have tried to reinstall but every install is a tedious process and sometimes, for some reason the installs fails since i dont know what im doing haha..

any ideas how to fix this last issue Nabutso? :?
