Has anyone using a laptop with AMD graphics ever able to get the game to launch using the Dedicated AMD GPU instead of the integrated gpu? I went and added the file pol.exe but that does not show up in my list. So i did the boot.exe and that is not switching the game to run on the AMD 530 i have.

The only thing that will fix is it to not use the CPU and use the integrated graphic chip.

Have you checked the BIOS? Sometimes you get lucky and find an option to assign priority (or outright disable integrated).

The AMD drivers may have broken things again... or if you haven't updated in the last few months, may be worth a shot. They were supposedly working on some DX9 fixes at the first of the year, IDK how far they got though... my laptop uses nVidia, so didn't really follow it closely, just recall seeing threads about it with other games.

One other thing you may want to double check is your power profile (powercfg.cpl). May need to set things to high performance modes... if Winblows starts notching things into power saving states, it may flip tings to the iGPU.
