Hi, I am getting a free Dell Optiplex 7010, 16 GB of ram, i5 with a SSD. I was thinking of adding the low wattage, low profile card below: GIGABYTE GeForce GT 1030 GV-N1030D5-2GL Low Profile 2G https://www.amazon.ca/GIGABYTE-GeForce- ... ce+gt+1030 Do you think this would be suitable for all FFXI situations? FFXI is the only game I am interested in playing. Thanks! Cheers, ~ Rubi |

You can almost run this game on a toaster. I used to run it on a duel core pentium with a 256mb graphics card. I run it on a microsoft surface with 4gb of ram and an integrated graphics card when i'm at work to do minor tasks. Its not ideal but it works. Dont forget that this game used to run on a ps2. The game engine has lag that happens regardless of your system so at some point it doesn't matter. i have a i7-9700k with 32gb of ram and a 2080ti and it still gets 40-50 fps in some areas with high activity. What your looking at should be just fine if your only wanting to play this game. |
