I am getting the same error. I have tried multiple installs. I am on Windows 10. Any suggestions? |

***Update on the Directplay issue*** I had been living with an incomplete Windows update for months and never knew it. When the installer attempted to enable the Legacy package including Directplay, it was simply missing. This with the combination in the delay of rolling the new windows update on MS side caused the issue. Once I patched Windows I was in game within 5-10 minutes. |
