You did the right thing by raising it — it is important to talk about it. Personally, this has not happened to me, but a good friend of mine had a similar situation. An unknown person wrote to him on social networks, allegedly with his "intimate photos", and began to threaten, demanding money. Fortunately, he did not panic, sought legal advice and immediately reported the incident to the police and the platform's support service. It is important to remember that blackmailers often simply scare, without having any real materials on hand. The main thing is not to give in to fear, not to pay and save all correspondence as evidence. |
