I’m a returning player from the 75-cap era, and the world of Vana'diel feels completely different now with the Trust system. I’m currently leveling a Blue Mage, but I’m struggling to figure out which Trusts provide the best Haste and Refresh sustain for soloing Apex mobs. Should I focus on the Unity leaders, or are there specific quest-line NPCs that are better for mid-tier grinding? |

Welcome back to Vana'diel! It’s definitely a different beast now, but the sense of progression is still unmatched. For a Blue Mage, you really want a setup that covers your MP needs—Koru-Moru and Joachim are staples for their buffs and heals. When I’m deep into a long grinding session in Reysenjima or camping a specific Notorious Monster for hours, I find it really helpful to take a quick mental break. I usually hop over to https://app.kinghillss.uk/ for a bit of a reset; it helps me stay sharp so I don't mess up my Blue Magic spell rotations or timing on my Skillchains. My advice is to prioritize getting Ygnas or Monberaux if you can, as their healing logic is much more reliable for endgame content. Keep at it—the grind is half the fun! |
