I own a small coffee shop in Datsa and want to add cashless payment options- customers are increasingly asking if they can pay with their phones instead of cash, and I’m starting to feel like I’m falling behind my competitors in the neighboring block, where QR payments have been available for a long time. I want to finally figure this out, but I don’t understand how to set it up technically for a small business without a complex IT infrastructure or large upfront costs. My budget is limited, and I don’t want to overpay for a solution designed for large chains. |

Could someone forge a QR code and redirect a payment to a different account? I’ve seen reports in the news about this happening , and it concerns me. Are there different QR code standards? bKash and Nagad have their own codes, and I’m not sure if I need to display several different ones. |

I own a small store and implemented QR payments last year. At first, I thought it would be complicated, but it turned out to be easier than a POS terminal. After searching for a long time, I finally found a decent solution from A-Pay. You can check this website to get a better understanding of how it works. They supports the Bangla QR standard, which works with most local wallets using a single code. You just put up one QR code at the register, and customers can pay with wallet. As for security, Bangla QR codes are dynamically generated and virtually impossible to forge, unlike static codes. Have you tried any cashless payment options at your business yet, or are you still considering it? |
