Post subject:  MMORPGs of the past and future
Wondering what other MMORPGs people have played in the past, as well as plan on playing in the future.

I personally can't wait for Pantheon. That game is shaping up to be FFXI 2.0 in a more modern era of gaming, run by the original EQ guys. They even talk about FFXI in their preview streams they do with the community.

I have been following pantheon for a couple years. I'm super hyped about it. Hopefully it will be everything we have been hoping for in a modern mmorpg

I haven't been following Pantheon, but remember seeing it once upon a time and being excited. Is there an ETA on that launching yet?

I still occasionally pick up Phantasy Star Online on the Ephinea private server and was recently thinking of giving old school Runescape a go. I've never played it and could use something new to do while LFG on here. :)

End of next year most likely for something that is a bit more playable wide scale. Beta-ish

OSRS is still really fun and glad it is having so much success. I also play PSO, but on the Ultima server. Nice to see other PSO fans. That game is one of the only games I put equal time into compared to FFXI.
