I work hard to buck that trend, but it's so goddamn true generally... The amount of times I've seen BST meleeing in CHR rings and AF is genuinely upsetting. It's like a guy who doesn't bathe because they just figure they'll spill more mountain dew and doritos on themselves soon anyway.

but he has +1 DEX and +1 VIT from the Bastokan Ring. If he got more than +1 STR on the other ring his stats wouldn't be balanced any longer.
