What is the process to file a claim against players who break agreements or steal items? For example: 1. if you trade items to be crafted - and they do not give the crafted item back 2. if you pay a group to kill an NM, trade pop items to a group, and when items drops, they kick you and steal the item Is there any repercussions? |

From my understanding, there is none. It's based on credibility. Reputation is big in this game, so I'd hope most wouldn't do that type of thing. |

All trades are final. 2. All trades are final. Nasomi doesn't have the time to investigate people's personal disputes so he created the blanket rule, "All trades are final." Now if someone does scam you/doesn't return an item, you can post to the forums to warn others/as an attempt to get your items/money back. |

Bit of a necrobump but honestly, aside from adjudication issues and the amount of nonsense Nasomi would have to examine... his public stance on this kind of directly contradicts his own posted Rules & Policies. Quote: Harassment and disruptive behavior are not allowed in Nasomi. These actions break the way the game is designed to be played and can result in disciplinary action. The following are examples of inappropriate behavior in Nasomi. ... In-Game Fraud • Defined as any action to defraud another player with the intent to gain items or gil for personal profit. Emphasis mine. Both the situations described should constitute fraud, and thus be subject to disciplinary action. |

its easy to tell you the difference. For example: If someone is going in with the intent to scam you, then he will take actions. Example would be Person A wants person B to craft an item. B states in linkshell that they don't particularly like A and will make said item to keep it, but then proceed to convince A that he is trustworthy and will make item and trade back. What this doesn't work with is if A wants B to make an item, B agrees, B HQ's item, B keeps item. A is pissed because A thought he was getting an HQ item. OR B breaks synth and wont reimburse A. Or really B just wants to keep item. There has to be intent to hurt or grief player. Same with abj. There has to be screenshots of intent to grief or harass for nasomi to care about it. If its a misunderstanding or something, he couldn't care less. |

Ignoring above post by salty child, as stated, the trades are final but that person's reputation will be completely destroyed by a legitimate forum post. A good example being the guy who hired Dominate to camp Joyeuse and then didn't pay him. |
