Post subject:  2016-11-24 Maintenance
First and foremost, Happy Thanksgiving. Now, I know Thanksgiving is an american holiday, but it's concept is universal. It's a time where we can sit back and reflect on the things that we have in life which we are grateful for, like supercharged v8 Jaguar's, SUV's with comfortable seating for 8 adults and a 11,500lb towing capacity, oversized and plentiful tractors, stable high speed fiber optic internet, 5760x1200 screen resolution, the list goes on, but you get the idea. During this time of maintenance, take some time to reflect, and appreciate all the wonderful things we have in life.

Many exciting adjustments have been in the works for quite some time. There have been a lot of changes behind the scenes, things that wouldn't affect the players as much, such as stability and crash fixes, restructuring how certain things work to reduce errors or bugs, and general optimization. To the player, this doesn't seem like much, and they won't notice other than having a smooth playing experience.

Then there's things that the players will notice. Here's a few of them:

Experience Points:
  • An error in exp calculation has been made for levels 1-50 has been fixed.
  • Level sync restrictions have been enabled where you cannot sync lower than 20 levels below your current level.
  • Monsters with MNK job type have had their damage adjusted.
  • The TP use of monsters has been adjusted

Functionality:
  • Shield block rates have been adjusted.
  • Shell calculation has been adjusted.
  • NIN emnity has been adjusted.
  • Various weaponskills adjusted.

New:
  • Sea functionality has been implemented to more closely match retail of the 2005 era.
