Character Name: Mobius Played FFXI? First time playing any final fantasy joined because of friends Other MMO's? Never played a true MMO but a few light RPGs and some DND would love to do more |

Welcome! It's really handy to have friends playing when you start FFXI because the learning curve is pretty steep at first. Make sure to read through the forums and tips for newer players. There's a lot of stuff to learn regarding macros, equipment, stats, jobs, getting xp, and how to complete some really cryptic quests. Refer to https://ffxiclopedia.fandom.com/wiki/ if you get stumped or want more info, and make sure your friends loan you some gil so you can at least have semi decent gear while you level. |
