Hello there everyone. I'm new to FFXI private servers but played waaay back when it was on PS2 with the only expansion being RotZ. Just got up and running with a Hume in Bastok and all I can say is "Wow!", serious nostalgia here. I'm incredibly grateful for the Nasomi team making this possible, thank you so much. Quick question, I've seen a friend play on the official servers using windower to increase the draw distance, making the game look quite impressive. Is this possible with this version as well? Thanks again! |

Welcome! It's fun here, especially as the nostalgia sets in. Plus we have the starlight celebration, also cool. No draw distance here, sadly. It increases people's receive in the local area and makes them lag out. While possible, it's a jailable/bannable offense. |

What you can do to increase the quality is set you background resolution to double the size of your window resolution. While this doesn't increase draw distance it does increase the pixel/inch making the game look a little more "HD". |
