how's the character balance, will I do well with a thf, what are some good char recommendations if you want to be a sought after party member? |

BLM, RDM, BRD, COR, PLD, SAM are the most sought after jobs for exp. |

well, im new to this server, so i cant say with any experience how THF does, but you shouldnt be discouraged just because its not the most sought after. most melee damage dealers are gonna be less-than-optimal, but theyre still in abundance because theyre fun to play. its a social game, you can build parties with anything as you make friends you could level a job for party invites if you want, and still run THF as your solo farming job (something THF is very good at) |

Ah cool thanks, yeah I agree that you can make anything work, but I've always played thf so I was kinda looking for an excuse to try something else, never really played blm before so I'm kinda interested in trying that. Thanks for the tip |

Hi Plutis /welcome. I've been on Nas for a couple months now, and played retail for a few years. Below is my experience with every job you can unlock on Nas sorted in no particular order. These are my personal opinion, and kept short for ease of reading. I definitely recommend trying jobs, and seeing what you enjoy the most. Play the job you enjoy, and if people don't like it, there are over 400 other people to choose from for parties. - Fantastic Jobs - BLM - Always been awesome, and easy to solo. Awesome on Nas. #1 love of my life. SAM - Always been awesome, and the 1st DD I usually look for. SMN - Was pretty good on retail. Is super good on Nas. Takes some effort. PLD/NIN/BRD/COR - You won't have to seek long anywhere unless you get unlucky. - Decent Jobs - RDM - While good there are already a lot of RDMs. WAR - You'll get parties, but you aren't the best tank, or the best DD. This statement has been proven wrong to me in the past. Should use Great Axe (See monk). DRK - Good DD. Probably not far behind SAM. BST - You'll be semi shunned, but lots of people love BST, and it is a very useful job. RNG - Great DD if you can afford the ammo. - Hard to get into Jobs - THF - Unless people know you learn to build parties, or you wont find one. Awesome for farming, but hard to get into using it for anything else. WHM - Everyone and their bother has a dual box PL, so exp is hard. Shortish supply for events but not enough to push someone toward the job. MNK - Awesome on retail. No one likes it on Nas. Maybe because 2 handed causes more TP moves. DRG - Good DD. Probably not far behind SAM or DRK. People still LOLDRG, so there is that. BLU - Good DD. You'll have to prove yourself a bit. - Do Not Play unless you like to be Punished - PUP - It doesn't have the parts needed to be successful. With ToAU locked it is to gimp to see actual use, but you can try to prove me wrong, and I'll watch :p |

Damn man thanks for that reply amazing advise, yeah I'm lvling a blm Taru, and a mith warrior right now, I'm liking the blm never played it, and tanking is really fun to, not sure where I'm gonna go with it though prob pld or Sam now that you tell me about them, im stoked though this server is so fun, it's like you think your happy in retail where you don't need parties and can get to lvl 99 in like a few hours lol, but then you get on here and your like , heck yes this actually fun and challenging, and you actually enjoy the long hours just to get that one level loll. About to unlock sub, but I'm wondering what sub I should use for blm, I definitely want to go whm so I have one levelled but not sure if Rdm is a better sub |

for BLM Subs I typically go WHM. It is very versatile, and I help with removing status effects sometimes. You get access to raise, blink, and Stoneskin earlier than RDM sub. RDM is probably best for high level stuff. Fast Cast is great, but I'd wait till you have the buffs to protect you before you switch over. NIN is a debate. Level it for specific situations. If you're kiting OWNM, solo exp, or fighting some other tough monster that you need shadows for. Personal opinion if you /nin in party exp you're a lazy jerk who doesn't help the party, and cant out nuke a properly geared BLM at 51+. SAM, and RDM can just about dualbox rule the world.
