Hello everyone. Long time player of this game from shortly after NA release. I quit a while before the last expansion. I tried another private server but with all of its tweaks it just did not feel right. I think I have been searching for the FFXI feeling in another game for a long time. Thank you Nasomi. I do not know you, but in a way, I do. I have read many of the new player posts and know that the feelings are all the same. It is indescribable playing this game from the beginning again. So many friendships and memories. The power of presence that so many locations have for me. The only downside I have encountered is an overwhelming sadness. My wife, who also played for a long time but was not acquainted then, has felt the same thing. The only thing I can guess is that we both miss the friends we shared the game with. We will just have to make some new ones on our adventures. My wife is Kippe and I of course am Lioneve. Bastok is home, and I plan to read every syllable of dialogue this time around. If you were on Leviathan or just love this game as we do, feel free to hit me up. Thanks again to Nasomi and anyone who has helped make this possible. |
