Hey everyone - was browsing Kotaku the other day and saw an article about these FFXI servers and thought I would check into it. I'll fill out the template and then have a few words. Nice to meet you all!

Played FFXI? Yes, was a max THF/NIN and had other jobs here and there.
Came from: I honestly can't remember, but I want to say Alexandr?
Years Played: From launch for 2-3 years.
How you found us? From an article on Kotaku, did some Googling, ended up on Reddit, etc.
Other MMO's? Yes...unfortunately MMOs have consumed probably most of my life. Ultima Online, EverQuest, DAOC, SWG, SWTOR, FF11, FF14(andRR), WoW, you name it, I've probably tried it.
Anything else? I remember my time on FF11 fondly. I loved the game to death and only ended up quitting because the computer I had at the time would crash over and over no matter what I did. I ended up not being able to really play for more than a few minutes without a crash. This basically caused me to quit because my hardware couldn't keep up...and I didn't have a PS2 at the time. It was my goal to get all of my class armor and become one of the best THFs! Oh well..
I'd love to join a linkshell and bring back the old days of mob XP chaining
