Hello, I mostly want to make this introduction just to thank Nasomi for all the work that went into this, I'm really looking forward to playing this in my free time and I'm amazed at the kind of time and dedication that must have went into this private server so thank you! Character Name: Andrina Played FFXI? yes, I played the original US release for about 2 years, and more recently I went back to FFXI but it was nothing like I remembered it, so I found this in my search for vanilla FFXI Came from: Bahamut, and I think I originally played on Ramuh around 2003-2004 Years Played: 2003-2004, then again in 2017 for a few months. How you found us? Google Other MMO's? yeah I played WoW way, way too much from 2004-2009. Took a break from MMOs and games in general after that, but I did intermittently come back to FFXI during that period, and I did manage to get to level 75 and to see a very small amount of endgame content before the level cap increases and all the other changes. So I'm fairly familiar with the game. Anything else? Just to say that I enjoyed the new FFXI since I was finally able to see all of the content easily and basically do everything solo, but the downside to this was that I became very nostalgic for the way FFXI was back when I originally played the game, all of the parties and grinding which might seem so tedious but which really forced you to play as a group, which afterall is the point of an MMORPG. |
