I started playing FFXI when it was first released, and never played any of the expansions. I am looking forward to starting new, and hopefully meeting some people. The client is installing now, so hopefully real soon I can meet you all in game. There is one thing I really want to do. When I played years ago I farmed forever for this special Black Mage Hat. I can't remember the name, but I know it's in the over world, maybe near Sandy or Bastok, and you have to kill a special mushroom guy to get it that rarely spawns. I remember the place he spawned was hard to find because you had to go on a lower part of the map. Iw was a green grassy area. Any ideas of the name of this hat? I thought it was the "Fungus Hat", but looking at the bestiary I don't think that's it. |
