Hello everyone, My name is Michael and I'm a huge huge huge final fantasy fanboy. I have played almost all of the numbered series except of course ffxi and ffxiv. I found nasomi and it seemed like the perfect way to get into ffxi finally. I'm currently just a lvl 5 warrior running around killing huge wasps and shit but I would really like to experience the story quests and what the game has to offer. I'm not a big mmo guy more of a solo rpg gamer but ff is my favorite series so I figured I'd like it. I'm starting to get the feel of the game but I am beginning to notice that not every feature in ffxi is available on nasomi and that scares me. If someone could clarify if I will be able to further enjoy nasomi in terms of story quests and peartying up I would appreciate it. My name in game is Dendrite. Add me and let's party up! |

Story quests are generally called “Missions”, although there are some non-Mission questlines with a lot of story as well. The storyline from the nation missions (Bastok, Sandy and Windy) and from the first two expansions are all able to be completed, except for the final Windurst Mission. I think you will find that working together in a party to accomplish things you cannot do alone to be very satisfying, whether it be for EXP, to kill NMs or to complete missions. Usually EXP parties on Nasomi begin at level 12 in Valkurm Dunes. It can be fun to run around killing things in a duo or trio at low levels as well. Take care ^^ |
