Hi. I recently installed the game but can't figure out how to launch. I double click on the Ashita app and a small window that looks like DOS comes up. I enter that I want to login and then I enter my username and password that I created on the website. The first time I did it, the game tried to launch but then force closed and I haven't been able to login since. The system keeps saying "invalid username/password" no matter how many times I enter the information correctly. Also, why do I need so many different usernames and passwords for one game? Main, alt and mule? What is a mule anyway? Why not make one username and password for everything? Also, why make it so difficult to figure out how to make the game work? There is no guide on the website. I had to open up all the files until I found one that may or may not have been the actual game launcher. Just a huge mess and not user friendly at all. There is a shortcut on my desktop that does nothing. I fully installed the game and unzipped everything. The whole deal is just confusing and would make a lot of people just walk away and uninstall. Need to make this more simplified and make more sense. You should be able to install, double click one icon that's automatically added to the desktop and that should open the game where you enter your username and password and you're in the game. Why not do that? Why make people search through hundreds of files with no guide on how to get started? Let me just double click 5000 files until one opens the game...and then have the game force close and tell me my username and password is no longer valid. Awesome. |

There's a mountain of information of this sort on the wiki, and here on the forums if you dig |

Nabutso answered below so I removed some inaccurate information. Quote: Also, why do I need so many different usernames and passwords for one game? Main, alt and mule? What is a mule anyway? You don't. An alt is just for if you want to level another character. Some people like to experience it all over again, other people level alts for other reasons like crafting. A mule is just a character people use to store stuff on. They are completely optional. Quote: There is no guide on the website. I feel like I've seen one, but that may have been with the old way to install (it was a real pain in the ass. This one is super simple) so they may have felt it not necessary to. I dunno. I'll have to see if I can find it anywhere. Quote: I had to open up all the files until I found one that may or may not have been the actual game launcher. That actually is what it does. You double click NasomiXI Launcer and it brings up this: ![]() From there you click an option and it lets you log in. |

Spincrusha, you no longer create your game account in the launcher. The very last issue he had is caused by a windows bug, not by nas. Read more here, OP: http://nasomi.com/wiki/index.php?title= ... characters Also, the install process used to be MUCH more difficult, requiring 20 hours of stuff to do including patching. All day, naschat was filled with people having trouble installing the game. That never happens anymore. We've grown to over 5x the size but receive about 1/10th the amount of questions about getting into the game. The account system will be simplified in the future (one login) but it isn't there yet. |

Oh that's good to know. I edited my post above. Another thing you can do is also go to NasChat up above and get some real-time help. I know people are usually there. But if people are afk they'll usually respond once they see it if they can help. |
