Hello I am new to FFXI but not MMO's. I am looking for someone to duo with from 1-12 just so I can get the hang of things. We can start out at which ever city but I will be rolling RDM to start with. I will be on all day today after 6pm eastern standard. I have discord and have no problem using it. Leave me a message on here if you are interested and thank you! |

I'm not on until around 8/8:30 central time, (9/9:30 your time) but do expect to be on. If you haven't found any help and still have questions by then, I'll be happy to help. Type /sea all guedj to see if I'm on or just try and /tell guedj. One of the most important things to do before you go out to fight things is to talk to a guard near the gates that lead outside from wherever you start and ask for Signet. I recommend you choose Sandoria or Bastok, as it'll be easier for you to get some important travel things later on. Sandoria being the easiest, Bastok a little harder but not bad. Windy you'll get it eventually, but takes a long time. Don't worry about the ring you get for starting in the city that matches your country. Also, you may want to roll MNK or WAR first, just because buying spells as a new player sucks, as you don't really have the disposable income. If you're set on playing a mage and don't care for melee though, RDM is the way to go! Good luck and /welcome |
