Hello players of Nasomi, I'm a Old-school FFXI player that came across this community thanks to YouTube, I was just one click away from reactivating my retail account (and paying a month), then I saw some videos about Nasomi and I thought, why not give it a try, as I want to relieve nostalgia, and by that I mean playing with people (not just forming my NPC party, or running dungeons in FFXIV where people feel like NPCs). A little bit about myself, I started playing back in 2004 (14 years ago! WOW!), some time before CoP was even released! When I started I never realized this game would change my life forever. I was introduced to a whole new world that actually was immersive, dangerous and beautiful at the same time. I remember partying up long time to level up a bit, doing epic quests with friends (because you couldn't solo anything), having endless experiences, making Jeuno my second home xD. Honestly I owe so much to this game, being a rookie indie game developer myself, my main inspiration comes from FFXI, also thanks to FFXI i grew closer to my brother, instead of just being "blood-related" we became best friends as well, hope I can make many friends here who feel like I do about Vana'diel, and want to re-discover this beautiful world that one time was a second world I lived in. |

Tyvm  Btw, been playing a couple days now, still a bit lowbie (BLM 9 D:) but well, we gotta start somewhere; I'm always up to chat with anyone, my character name is Irella, if anyone (who reads this or any of my posts) sees me, make sure to say hello to an old school veteran (back in the day i got PLD75, NIN75; RDM75; WAR70, couldn't beat maat as WAR because of GAxe skill = 0, ragequitted and mained RDM for a while, until I fell in love with tanking) |
