Hey everyone! I played back in 2005 for about a year, but I was young, had no idea what I was doing and didn't get past level 28 WHM / BLM. I went back to retail in 2016 but it just wasn't the same, so I quit. Since then I've been yearning to truly experience this masterpiece of a world. I met one of my best and longest standing now-real-life friends through FFXI, I met them when I was level 5 and we've been in contact ever since. Character Name: Vherus Played FFXI? Yes, a little Came from: Bahamut Years Played: 2005 How you found us? Google, found Dark Star, compared the online player count with this server Other MMO's? WoW, FFXIV, a bunch of others. I don't play any now, but will play WoW Classic when it lands. Anything else? I generally play healers! |

Glad to have you back. Like you, I couldn't stand modern retail either. I like to play with others and enjoy the challenge of the game. In old school FFXI, every level range is fun, and it's not just a quick race to 99. |
