Character Name: The_Sock (original, I know..) Played FFXI? Nope, first time in! Came from: uhhhh..? Years Played: no? How you found us? Reddit, of all places Other MMO's? WoW (vanilla era) GW2, FF14 for a little while but I can't afford the monthly payments or the time needed to get in properly Anything else? My husband absolutely loves Final Fantasy, but despises MMOs as a concept, so me getting into this game kills two birds with one stone. I get to play a game that I've wanted to play for a long time and he gets to nerd out with the technical aspect. Win-win, right? To go a bit further, I'm 28 years old, and a bit of a dunce when it comes to Final Fantasy as a series, and between work and bills I seldom have enough money to get by every week in this economy. I have discord, and would love to link up with a kinda casual crowd here (if such a thing even exists). I haven't even logged into the game yet and I'm looking for advice on how/where to even begin. Typically in MMOs I will play a healer class, if that helps. |
