Nah, it's all good, but here's the thing: I've never played FFXI before and wonder if any of y'all would offer me some guidance? A handy chap in Windurst just taught me what a Linkshell is so if anyone has any going that I could join to teach me the ropes, I'd appreciate that greatly. Just bear in mind you'll have to put up with 24/7 amateur hour
In the meantime though, I'll be chilling in Windurst; I just made my character so I managed to get in-game alright, although it WAS a bit of a faff to get going alright. Big thanks to the various posts on here about people's problems.
