I don't really see a whole lot of difference between paying 500k to do this vs just leeching off your friends dyna to bubu runs. And I only say that because there's a lot people that are already doing that.
If it's your first job to 75 and you go down this road then GL to you because you won't be able to play your job for shit but if you're leveling you rdm or thf alt that you don't really like to play but it's useful for farming...then there's a lot of appeal here.

I'd say the same thing about merits. Put in the time to unlock them initially but capping them can be a pain in the butt especially for someone that doesn't get much playtime, like myself. Just my two cents, and it's probably worth half that!
