hey everyone :) so I've asked this question in naschat and in game linkshell and I can not get someone who knows the answer, so hope someone here can help me :(


Ok so I leveled cooking like a year ago on my character and now I don't want to be a cook anymore, my cooking is at 93. I want my same character to have a different craft at 100. I know you can only have one at 100.

is there anyway I can lower my cooking craft at all? some people who don't know for sure seem to think I'm stuck with it. making a mule is not a option by the way I want those
chars to have something else also.

I also read on some other ffxi websites that are not nasomi websites if I craft something else higher my cooking will start to go down? I'm cool with this if thats the case
but I dont want to invest a craft all the way to 70+ just to find out the cooking wont go down?

You can try to catch Nas on a good day, and see if he'll adjust it down for you to 60.

Otherwise, the answer is no.

you can have 3 at 100. Primary, Alt, Crafting/City Mule.

tried asking in nas chat multiple times if he would lower chars crafting level no response :( i feel like this should be something that gets added someone might get one extra crafting point past 60 and screw themselves on whatever they wanted to really get to 100

Definitely don't take the guild test to progress past 60, if you don't want to level past 60.

When I started on Nasomi I made the mistake of first leveling cooking and I got it to 63. I then decided to switch to bonecraft and leveled it to 96 thinking I couldn't raise it any higher. This weekend I decided to skill up some more to see what happens and I was able to get to 97. So I've got 97.0 bonecraft + 63.1 cooking + 60.2 leathercraft = 100.3 total crafts.
