Is there an NPC that sells these for less than 750g each? 1010 stacks sold in the last 15 days as of the writing of this post. It’s a level 5 fish that sells for 1000 a stack, so it’s highly unlikely there are tons of people targeting this fish. I’ve visited three fishing guilds and none of them sold them, even though all ffxi resources say they do. Where is the supply coming from? |

It generally comes from people skilling up fishing in Selbina. It's the simplest way to get to lvl 5, but you end up fishing a loooooot of them while doing that range. I've noticed the recent run on them and it's remarkable. Normally there are hundreds of stacks on the AH but we must have some alchemists going crazy making mercury these days. |

Well, that explains why every time I put cobalt jellyfish up for auction they sold within the hour. Can't seem to sell any other fish these days though. |

Quus/Bastore sardine will get you to 1-11 with sabiki/composite/port windy in like an hour with double catches. You can test out with what you caught in the same zone. It boggles the mind why people still suggest Selbina. |

AFAIK you can use a rig at selbina and get close to a 100% catch rate. pre-rig update, you are right tho |
