Post subject:  High Crystal Prices
I've been noticing that crystal prices have skyrocketed in the last few months. Remember when there used to be 3k stacks of earth crystals at all times? They were sold out last night and going for 2k a stack. That is almost a 10x increase of their historical price. Fire crystals went over 4k a stack last week (they used to hover around 700). What happened?

Some crystals have been less affected. Lightning, for example has only gone up to about 2k from 1.2k. Light crystals have even lowered in price. Water crystals are still 300 a stack, which is about the price they have always been.

My theories:
-Fewer new players selling crystal stacks
-More people doing crafts
-People are in general doing more NM killing activities, and less exping

Has anyone else been wondering about this? Can anyone provide insight?

Maybe exp reduction on EP and/or removal of exp rings has led to less people grinding on EP and generating crystals.

Less people doing the 1-12 grind to supply their own independent crystal source.
Population gone down due to coronavirus restrictions being lifted.
There was a time where Water Crystals ran out too ~8months ago, they skyrocketed to 2-3k a stack as everyone was crafting some type of sauce(rip).
I would concur with less newer players though, the pool of LFP members across all levels has been slim this entire week, small sample size.

Seems like a lot of people with gil have decided to start leveling a craft which means they just PL it so there's a mass consumption of crystals on a regular basis now. I 100% laughed when the AH had 0 stacks of earth crystals on AH yesterday because I remember when there was always a plethora of them up for sale.

Time to farm some clusters!
