Fishing 96+ what do i do next?

Post subject:  Fishing 96+ what do i do next?
I hit 96 fishing earlier, i mainly leveled fishing for some passive gil while XPing and it's been great!

but now that i've hit 96 and the idea of ebisu has popped up, i'm wondering if my lvl 20 whm alt should go for it.

only problem is i'm feeling a bit overwhelmed, it's a large investment of time to make (apparently) and can be frustrating, but i don't exactly understand what the rewards are, if i get it, would i still be fishing black soles? what sort of gil/hr increase would i expect should I get one?

would i need a higher job level on my alt to get it? (fishing on the boat seems like a dangerous thing to do).

is there a guide towards getting it? half of the stuff i see online is out of era stuff could someone give me an idea of the investment of time and expected return of getting ebisu? thank you.

Legendary fish can enable some nice skillup options and can be a welcome distraction after a sole-fishing marathon. Unfortunately, the profitable legendaries are often purchased by people doing blitz skillup, so a specific fish may have zero AH sales for weeks, and then suddenly someone will buy hundreds of them. If gil is your game, sole will always be in your repertoire.

Get your ebisu. Seriously.

No, they are from Abyssea era.
