I seem to be stuck at level 21 in Woodworking. I can't get any more skillups on Yew Wands. I can't quite do Shihei yet. WAY too many breaks. Maybe 4/5 are breaks. Costing me too much in lost bast parchment and ink. Is there anything I can skill up on to get up a couple more levels before I get back to trying Shihei? Thanks |

Elm Lumber Chestnut Lumber with Adv Support. Try to put yourself 3-5 levels below the cap (your skill + support levels). I like the BG wiki for recipe lists to browse for ideas. cross reference the cost of materials and nasomi prices to decide on worthwhile recipes. |

If you get advanced support for shihei, you should do fine. Regular support is like a +1 to your level, advanced is like a a +3. You wanna be within a 5 levels below or less. So 21+3=24 is the perfect spot on a 29 synth. |

Thank you both. The Adv Image Support did the trick. I'm now at lvl24 and haven't dealt with excessive breakage. The BG wiki list gives me a TON of ideas for new things to try making. So, again, much thanks to you both! |

The Adv. Support is huge in crafting. Don't cheap out on the few gil. 100% worth it. Also check out ctownwoody's guide on ffxiclopedia. |
