This was interesting to check out. It's essentially both since theyre both 14 skill required. On retail, could you get subcraft skill ups while skilling? Because you can on nasomi. So you'll get skill ups on both, if youre in range.

Also when you desynth them, do you get both skill ups or one in particular? The wiki seems to say the desynth is BC only, but who knows.

Believe you could get sub craft skill-ups.

But I bring it up for the high quality value of this item, only goldsmithing matters bone just needs to be 14. Which would be the opposite on retail.

And desynths only ever fall into one craft.... or so believe, can't find a desynth with a off sub.

Can anyone confirm if shuriken crafting results were ever fixed? They are most certainly not supposed to be 3/6/9/12....

The next change to the page was done in 2014 and updates it to 33/66/99

I need proof that 33/66/99 is in era to add it.

I mean it just doesn't make sense... every other consumable ammo like this is made in batches of 33/66/99... Why would shurikens, which are more costly to make than any other ammo, be different?

Aside from my testimony that I used to craft them on retail pre-toau here are some other sources:

Allakhazam predates ffxiclopedia and they dont even have a change history for shurikens, yet list them as 33/66/99. http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?fitem=304

The Fuma Shuriken were 3/6/9/12 according to Gahoo's entry for those, but the Shuriken were 33/66/99.
