Post subject:  (NM) Orctrap
Was asked about the spawn conditions of Orctrap in Carpenter's Landing, figured I'd post here.

I took a screenshot of the wide scan readout hoping maybe it would help narrow down the placeholder, which I believe to be different than it is on retail:

I've popped it 4 times so far, usually within 2 hrs of camping, by killing every single Birdtrap from one side to the other. I've not killed it in consecutive spawns, so can't say for sure what exactly it's window is.

This is very confusing because other (retail) websites say the PH is the first Birdtrap after the last tiger. Your image would contradict that.

I have been killing the Birdtraps on and off and have never seen him pop :(

An easy wait to find a PH that worked in retail (haven't tried on Nasomi). Was to tag all the potential mobs and drag them far away enough to zone/hide so that they will depop. The PH will not depop and instead walk back.

Afterwards let all the mobs repop and see where the PH returns to.

I've spawned and killed him a couple of times but only without using any kind of method or preparation, generally I've only killed the Birdtraps in the middle area of I-10 (the valley area to the north stopping before the lake, area to the east stopping before way before the logs).

All I can say is I was in an EXP party here synced to about 25-26 killing birdtraps and the NM spawned in the vicinity of the OP's wide scan. Pulled him without realizing it was the NM and party wiped lol. Party ended there, I released and came back on THF haha
