I find there is a lot of confusion in newer players with the fact that mobs are a higher level on nasomi, get the word out guys

are u baked nabu? lol like a year ago nas raised all mobs 1-3 levels good guy but this def happened

Yeah... after they were all TOO LOW.

Look at dunes lizards at lv 10. If you go as a full party at 10 and kill the lizards by konschat, you get 157 exp minimum. Before the level increase, they would have been VT AT LEVEL 10.

The misconception: people on this server always sync to the lowest level party member. In retail, that wasn't possible. If you go into qufim with a full party of 19s, it's suicide, but that isn't because qufim is higher level here than in retail. It's because you'd get picked up as a lv 19 in qufim parties with the highest level party member being 21 or even 22. So everything feels higher level here because of that.

That's exactly why DSP mob levels were wrong and needed to be corrected by nas (the level increase). DSP though mob levels were too high and REDUCED them because of the EXACT thing I just described above: they didn't consider than a place you go to at "level 19" in retail didn't really mean the entire party was 19.

SOME mobs are too high level. SOME mobs are too low level. But that was the case before this change anyway because not everything was right to begin with.

Now, no more discussion, I'm tired of having to explain this phenomenon EVERY SINGLE TIME that mob levels, exp, etc is brought up.

Zone: KRT basement F-7 (6 easily accessible bat spawns)
Mob Target: Ogre Bats
EXP: 150 minimum

it should be noted that the KRT ogre bats only have a 2 level range. At 55, we were exclusively getting 150xp per kill or 168xp per kill.

Zone: Cape Teriggan G-8 near OP

EXP: 250 guaranteed
