This is my first time playing so I've decided to chronicle my experiences. I started the game as a white mage, but I soon realized that I would not have the funds necessary to pursue my magical studies. At level 4 I switched over to a monk and continued killing hornets. Even though I had no weapon. I made steady progress. I continued my unarmed adventure until level 7. When I finally sold enough loot to afford myself a cestus. This sped everything up for me. I went from hitting for an average of 4 points to averaging 12. Bigger game was taken down and before I knew it I was level 10 with enough points to purchase legionaire fists and mittens. I've nearly doubled my damage output and I'm prepared to wander past my starting zone. Wish me luck guys. I'm excited to experience this while new adventure. In game name is jironie. This was my same path in retail back in ToAU days... I got to WHM60ish and tried partying in Wajaom Woodlands, but my gear was shit and I didn't have half my spells haha. So I just started leveling Monk, punching all the things, beat Maat, and then went on to main WHM.

Want to main WHM at some point - spent most of my retail days playing WAR and MNK, sort of avoided the casters - but finding it difficult to survive long enought to collect all them phat lootz. Not so difficult to do when you can punch things until they just hand it over hahaha |
