I found this in a topic within the forum, but it seemed better placed here. Not my guide, not sure who to credit, maybe the wiki?

Hello fellow aspiring Thieves!! I see that no one has posted any info in this thread so I figured I would put together this quick guide on weapons/armor for what you should be wearing (and why) as well as certain pieces of gear you should strive to obtain when the time comes. So let's begin!!

Most of us are aware that the main weapon of a thief is Dagger. It is an A+ rated weapon for thief and will be your go to weapon. However, in the beginning levels of a thief, the DMG output on a dagger is significantly low and will not produce the needed results required when EXP'n either solo or in a group setting. So in this regard, a thief will start out with a different weapon until level 33 in which the weaponskill "Viper Bite" (unlocked at dagger skill lvl 100, gives a DEX 100% stacked with Sneak Attack) can be achieved through Dagger. A thief has 2 choices. "Hand to Hand" or "Sword". It is strictly up to you to decide however, this guide will start off using a Sword because it has the better of the 2 ratings - "H2H"= E rating , "Sword" = D rating. Below is a compiled list of gear per slot best suited for the aspiring Thief to be at it's best potential for both him/herself and his/her party group:

Weapon - (Sword)
Lvl 1 - Wax Sword/Wax Sword +1 (has same DMG as a bronze sword but with a lower delay)
Lvl 7 - Xiphos/Xiphos +1
Lvl 10 - Royal Archer's Sword
Lvl 13 - Bilbo/Bilbo +1 (The following option is viable as well)
Lvl 13 - Brass Xiphos/Brass Xiphos +1
Lvl 18 - Fire Sword/Flame Sword
Lvl 24 - Nadrs (NM drop from Lottery Spawn "Cargo Crab Colin" in Korroloka Tunnel. Keep in mind, this NM is Lvl 37 and will require a group at lower levels to kill. The Sword's additional effect "poison" has a high proc rate and causes 10hp/tick when procced)
Lvl 28 - Mithran Scimitar (has a nice added +3 DEX)
Lvl 30 - Centurions Sword (has a +3 ACC and +4 Attack)

This is all the sword info you will need because the Centurions Sword will take you to lvl 33. Once at 33, you will want to immediately begin Dagger skill ups to unlock Viper Bite. From here on, your main weapon will be Dagger. Let's now take a look at those:

Lvl 1 Bronze Knife
Lvl 7 Blind Dagger
Lvl 9 Brass Dagger
Lvl 12 Dagger (Option below is just as viable)
Lvl 12 Silence
Lvl 20 Decurion's Dagger
Lvl 20 Mercenary's Knife
Lvl 23 Corrosive Dagger (optional)
Lvl 25 Federation Kukri
Lvl 25 Windurstian Knife
Lvl 28 Archer's Knife (Nice to use to build TP with a Crossbow)
Lvl 30 Mercenary Captain's Kukri
Lvl 30 Royal Squire's Dagger
Lvl 34 Windurstian Kukri/Federation Kukri or San d'Orian Dagger/Kingdom Dagger.
Lvl 40 Marauder's Knife (AF1 weapon)
Lvl 40 Corrosive Baselard (Marauder's Knife has lower DPS than Federation Kukri or Corrosive Baselard, but has nice DEX/AGI bonuses)
Lvl 42 Calveley's Dagger (lower DPS than earlier daggers, but has DEX+3. Dropped from 2 seperate Lvl 40 BCNM's. Check to see if they are doable or if their OWNM counterparts are available)
Lvl 46 Bone Knife +1 if you are missing a lot, do x2, otherwise calv/this is good for now, personal preferance here.
Lvl 48 Hornetneedle (Dropped from the NM "Death from Above" in Temple of Uggalepih, if you have high level friends or a high level job get this, replace Calveley's with this if you can. Has a +1 to both DEC and AGI)
Lvl 50 Corsair's Knife x2 if you don't have Hornetneedle.
Lvl 50 Mercurial Kris Excellent offhand dagger for the level, if you have it.
Lvl 58 Chicken Knife (Good damage and low delay with Additional Effect: Flee but again, it's a Lvl 60 BCNM drop so check to see if the battle works or it's OWNM counterpart is active)
Lvl 59 Darksteel Kukri/+1
Lvl 62 Cermet Kukri or plus one, same as darksteel, not pricy. Chicken Knife Complements this well.
Lvl 65 Garuda's Dagger if you want, I would keep 2x Cermet Kukri though. Garuda can be soloed by a 74 /nin really easy.
Lvl 68 Hoplites Harpe - (again, drops in 3 seperate Lvl 30 BCNM's)
Lvl 69 Sirocco Kukri - (This is an amazing wind based weapon that drops off the truly pain in the ass NM Kreutzet in Cape Terrigan. Not only does he suck to camp, but equally sucks to kill. Check confirmation on whether this NM exists in Nasomi)
Lvl 70 Magnet Knife, switch out the Hopilite's or the Garuda's/Kukri.
Lvl 70 Behemoth Knife +1. NQ is not better than Harpe or Magnet Knife.
Lvl 70 Thief's Knife DMG:28 Delay:194 Treasure Hunter+1 (Very useful for Farming/HNM/NM)
Lvl 71 Stylet Slightly better than Behemoth knife +1. (2 seperate Lvl 30 BCNM's)
Lvl 72 Adder Jambiya +1 | Amir Jambiya | Jambiya +1 | Adder Jambiya
Best to worst in descending order. Each is marginally greater than Stylet.
Lvl 73 Perseus's Harpe (will work fine off handing if you have Sirocco Kukri) (Drops off Xolotl in Attohwa Chasm, not sure if this NM is active on Nasomi so ask anyone for confirmation)
Lvl 75 Batardeau - Second to final relic upgrade. In Dynamis Weapon skill: Mercy Stroke. Main hand if you have it.
Lvl 75 Mandau - Dynamis relic weapon consisting of the weaponskill "Mercy Stroke" - Best main hand weapon.

THAT .... is ALOT of daggers ... (Whew!). Ok, now that we have the main weapons under our belt, it is now time to move onto, you guessed it......Ranged Weapons! Let's have a look:

Lvl 1 Shortbow
Lvl 7 Self Bow
Lvl 15 Windurstian Bow
Lvl 24 Wrapped Bow
Lvl 30 Hamayumi (Ok, so this bow is simply amazing HOWEVER, it drops off an Empty NM located in Promyvion - Vahzl. The item needed to pop this NM "Remnant of Cerberator" drops off Cerberator, an NM located in Promyvion - Holla. Cerberator is a Lvl 38 NM and since the first 3 promy's are capped at Lvl 30, You WILL need an alliance of 18 people as I don't believe a party of 6 - 12 will succeed due to the surrounding adds being True Sight. Same goes for the Vahzl NM Deviator as he is Lvl 58 and the zone itself capped at 50. If you have the means to obtain this bow, get it!)
Lvl 36 Composite Bow
Lvl 55 Lightning Bow (+1 HQ is an awesome piece as well)

Lvl 1 Wooden Arrow
Lvl 7 Bone Arrow
Lvl 14 Iron Arrow or 15 Fang Arrow
Lvl 17 Beetle Arrow
Lvl 19 Poison Arrow
Lvl 24 Silver Arrow
Lvl 29 Horn Arrow
Lvl 35 Sleep Arrow
Lvl 40 Scorpion Arrow
Lvl 60 Demon Arrow

Lvl 10 Legionnaire's Crossbow
Lvl 12 Crossbow
Lvl 25 Power Crossbow (+1 AGI, keep this for TA if you're pulling with crossbow)
Lvl 40 Thug's Zamburak (Nice for the AGI+ and Ranged Acc+)
Lvl 50 Arbalest +1 (If you use ranged attack a lot, the extra damage will be noticeable)
Lvl 63 Velocity Bow Real cheap, but optional. A nice upgrade from Thug's IMO.
Lvl 71 Ziska's Crossbow Very low delay and ranged accuracy +8 (Drops from 2 separate Lvl 30 BCNM's)
Lvl 74 Staurobow, +4 AGI a great piece for TA (This piece is will be a nightmare to obtain on Nasomi due it being a crafted item with one of the materials needed is x1 Unicorn Horn. There were 3 ways to obtain it in retail, ENM, Abyssea NM, or quest. The first 2 options are null and void which leaves us with the quest "Uninvited Guests". It's only available AFTER
CoP "The Savage" mission is completed and can only be done ONCE per week in between conquest tallies. The quest consists of re-doing the Mammet fight allowing 18 people to enter HOWEVER, the unicorn horn has only a 2.5% chance of appearing in the loot pool out of a random selection of 37 items (including the Assault Breastplate). Good luck!! because if it IS ever crafted, it will be worth a FORTUNE!!) lol

Lvl 10 Blind Bolt
Lvl 15 Acid Bolt (Very useful bolt, lowers DEF of enemy. One DEF Down effect normally lasts the entire battle, so switching Bolts is a good idea because of the price of these.)
Lvl 20 Sleep Bolt (Extremely useful for soloing. Able to use Sneak Attack in the middle of a solo fight.)
Lvl 25 Venom Bolt (Extremely Cheap bolts, Low Delay, High Damage. Nice to build TP with)
Lvl 25 Bloody Bolt (Paired with the other bolts, allows a THF to be able to solo a T+. Blind to help keep shadows up if subbing NIN. Bloody Bolt to gain HP when you take damage. Sleep Bolt for when you need to recast Utsusemi.

Throwing Weapons:

Lvl 6 Coarse Boomerang
Lvl 14 Boomerang
Lvl 15 Rogetsurin (This has +1 AGI, but low damage. Drops off the NM Haty in Kontchstat Highlands at nighttime during Full Moon phase. There is also a Shadow NM in the same area that drops it as well but I would advise ignoring him as he spams "Dimensional Death" for well over 100pts per hit which is devestating to a lower lvl player)
Lvl 19 Flame Boomerang
Lvl 24 Wingedge
Lvl 28 Chakram
Lvl 33 Long Boomerang (This has +2 AGI, best ranged for SATA use for a while)
Lvl 63 Bomb Core
Lvl 70 Ungur Boomerang (Dropped from Ungur. Difficult to get, but the best for the end-game THF due to its very low delay and +8 eva)
Lvl 70 Fire Bomblet (+6 ACC is great if you're using meat, but 6 less ATT than Bomb Core)

Ok, now that we've cleared the essentials of weapons, it is time to move on to what clothes you plan to put on your body. Lets have a detailed look at Armor:

Head -

Lvl 1 Bronze Cap
Lvl 7 Leather Bandana
Lvl 9 Compound Eye Circlet (I will have to verify if this piece is avaiable as I don't remember seeing it on the AH and with a sweet +5 EVA on a Lvl 9 head piece, I wouldn't be suprised if it isn't on our server)
Lvl 10 Royal Footman's Bandana
Lvl 16 Bone Mask or +1 for the extra evasion
Lvl 17 Lizard Helm
Lvl 21 Beetle Mask or +1 for the extra evasion
Lvl 24 Emperor Hairpin or Empress Hairpin (Empress drops from Valkurm Emperor (Emperor is VERY expensive, you can live without it or it's RA/EX version, but I will recommend hunting VE occasionally after 45 and you get TH2. Save yourself a headache and go THF/RNG.)
Lvl 30 Mercenary Captain's Headgear or Noct Beret +1
Lvl 41 Voyager Sallet (The only piece I can think of that competes with the lvl 24 Hairpin. Use for Attack set.)
Lvl 43 Walkure Mask (good for TP gain if you don't have a Voyager Sallet)
Lvl 50 Crow Beret, (For soloing without Empress/Emperor)
Lvl 54 Rogue's Bonnet
Lvl 59 Zeal Cap - (I will need to confirm if this piece is obtainable through synthesis on Nasomi)
Lvl 60 Patroclus's Helm, if you are going for a haste build
Lvl 70 Optical Hat (The melee staple head piece. Good for exp, excellent for soloing)
Lvl 71 Assassin's Bonnet (+5 DEX for SA is nice. Just swap it in. Upgrade to the +1 if you can)
Lvl 72 Panther Mask (Decent defense, high Charisma, and a small haste boost. A well-rounded piece for any Thief. Also gives a resistance to paralysis)
Lvl 73 Hecatomb Cap (Best Weaponskill Head item, Great amount of STR)
Lvl 75 Denali Bonnet (Haste+4% which is only 1% fewer than Walahra Turban, with extra AGI+4, Evasion+3, Atk+3)
Lvl 75 Walahra Turban (Used in conjunction with accuracy gear or food, is a strong TP gain piece)

Body -

Lvl 1 Starting RSE, Aketon, or Bronze Harness
Lvl 7 Leather Vest
Lvl 10 Legionnaire's Harness
Lvl 11 Brass Harness
Lvl 16 Bone Harness or Lizard Jerkin
Lvl 21 Beetle Harness or +1 for evasion
Lvl 30 Mercenary Captain's Doublet for TP and SATA, Noct Doublet +1 for RA.
Lvl 33 Consider RSE for DD set. None have enough +DEX/AGI to warrant macroing in for SATA
Lvl 40 Iron Musketeer's Gambison is good to macro in for RA.
Lvl 45 Brigandine Armor, replaces that old Merc. Captain Doublet.
Lvl 50 Crow Jupon (Has a very nice Evasion for soloing purposes)
Lvl 50 Rapparee Harness better than AF body with Haste+4%. Great TP gain piece to 75. (Obtained through the quest"Brygid the Stylist Returns")
Lvl 55 Jaridah Peti Better than AF once again, also has nice buffs for a nice price.
Lvl 57 Scorpion Harness/+1 (Acc/Eva +10, or +12 for each with HQ. A solid TP piece until endgame, usable for multihit, non-SATA WS as well.)
(Rapparee Harness is more useful to TP in when you do not need the Acc/Eva.)
Lvl 58 Rogue's Vest, another crap piece. Macro it in for Hide or don't get it at all. Yet again may want it for Maat though.
Lvl 59 Black Cotehardie, macro in for SATA if you have SH or Rap, otherwise use full time.
Lvl 67 Assault Jerkin, (I will need to verify if this item is obtainable on Nasomi through other means then retail as it drop from Serket in Ghoyu's Reverie which is only accessed through Sandworm in WoTG past areas.) A weapon skill macro-in piece, but rather more suited to non SATA weapon skills.
Lvl 69 Blue Cotehardie, Another, better SATA weapon skill macro-in piece.
Lvl 71 Antares Harness, Accuracy, evasion, 8 DEX and 8 AGI is the second best SATA piece out there and a very good TP piece. It's currently extremely hard to acquire though.
Lvl 73 Hecatomb Harness
Lvl 73 Dragon Harness, Used to be the best SATA weapon skill macro-in piece, outranked by Antares Harness, and it is fairly costly.
Lvl 75 Denali Jacket, Paired with Rogue's Armlets +1 gives a fair amount of AGI (10) and only 1 less attack than Dragon Harness.
Lvl 75 Homam Corazza, (I saw a shout for this a couple days ago so I will assume it is obtainable on Nasomi but you may want to verify. Very good TP piece if you can afford the haste loss by not using Rapparee Harness)

Hands -

Lvl 1 starting RSE or Bronze Mittens
Lvl 7 Leather Gloves
Lvl 10 Legionnaire's Mittens (Below option is viable as well)
Lvl 10 Royal Footman's Gloves
Lvl 14 Battle Gloves (Best gloves for Attack for quite a long time due to +ACC, decent Defense, and Evasion)
Lvl 27 Hume, Taru, and Elvaan have viable RSE. (Hume may desire to wear full time, Elvaan should macro in for SATA, and Taru should use in Melee, macroing in +DEX/AGI for SATA when possible)
Lvl 30 Mercenary Captain's Gloves (Macro in for SATA, Noct Gloves +1 for Ranged Attack)
Lvl 34 Windurstian Gloves/Federation Gloves
Lvl 38 Mage's Cuffs (Macro in for SATA)
Lvl 50 Crow Bracers (Great for soloing, especially if you have the entire Crow set due to the nice added EVA)
Lvl 52 Rogue's Armlets
Lvl 55 Jaridah Bazubands (Nice piece of equipment, adds nice defense, better than AF gives Accuracy and an overall nice upgrade)
Lvl 62 Wood Gauntlets or Wood Gloves (Great for SA/SATA with 4 dex if you are elvaan)
Lvl 65 Finesse Gloves (Finally, a decent upgrade from Battle Gloves. (Jaridah hands are hardly an upgrade)
Lvl 65 Fencing Bracers (Good for soloing / if you're at the accuracy cap. Main alternatives (+3acc from Battle/Jaridah) aren't great)
Lvl 70 War Gloves/+1, (A standard piece for soloing and TP gain alike)
Lvl 70 Tarasque Mitts or Tarasque Mitts +1, (A good SATA weapon skill macro-in piece. It is worth mentioning that Charisma is the main modifier for Dancing Edge, so this may be suited for other weaponskills)
Lvl 70 Alkyoneus's Bracelets or Pallas's Bracelets (Lv 60 suitable for non SATA weapon skills)
Lvl 73 Hecatomb Mittens (Perfect for WS gear)
Lvl 74 Rogue's Armlets +1, Best Trick Attack hands.
Lvl 75 Homam Manopolas (Check to verify if the these are available on Nasomi)

Legs -

Lvl 1 - Starting RSE or Bronze Subligar
Lvl 7 - Leather Trousers
Lvl 16 - Bone Subligar (Or it's +1 counterpart for the added +1 EVA)
Lvl 17 - Lizard Trousers
Lvl 21 - Beetle Subligar (Or it's +1 counterpart for the added +1 EVA)
Lvl 25 - Republic Subligar (Good piece of TP gear)
Lvl 30 - Noct Brais +1 (Macro these in for SATA and RA)
Lvl 31 - RSE - (Elvaan are great to macroe in for SATA)
Lvl 47 - Bravo's Subligar (A decent piece of haste but must have access to Misareaux Coast to camp NM that drops them)
Lvl 61 - Tabin Hose +1 (Upgrade SATA piece from Noct Brais +1)
Lvl 63 - Feral Trousers
Lvl 72 - Dusk Trousers (The best source of attack on legs, except for the Hecatomb Subligar)
Lvl 73 - Dragon Subligar (Macro in for WS setup)
Lvl 73 - Hecatomb Subligar (Excellent legs for WS and SA)
Lvl 75 - Homam Cosciales (Amazing TP legs, Verify if these are avaiable on Nasomi)

Feet -

Lvl 1 - starting RSE or Bronze Leggings
Lvl 7 - Leather Highboots
Lvl 7 - Leaping Boots/Bounding Boots dropped from Leaping Lizzy (These should be obtainable by virtually everyone on this server whether by camping the drop, or buying them. The price has dropped to roughly the 50k ish range which make these in arms reach. +3 to both DEX and AGI make these boots your go to footwear and are insane stats at Lvl 7. GET THEM ASAP!
Lvl 16 - Bone Leggings +1 or lvl 17 Lizard Ledelsens
Lvl 20 - Royal Footman's Clogs (Has a nice +1 AGI but only get if you don't have LL boots)
Lvl 20 - Trotter Boots/Strider Boots - (Ok, so these are the THEE Kiting feet for a THF. Trotter version drops off the HNM Roc in Rolanberry Fields. The Strider version drops in the BCNM "The Hills are Alive" Lvl 30. Good luck getting these as they are an amazing piece of gear!)
Lvl 21 - Beetle Leggings +1 (Great at this level due to the added +1 EVA available only on the HQ version)
Lvl 24 - Winged Boots (same as Leaping/Bounding, but with more DEF. Don't get them unless you already have them, the DEF+ isn't worth the extra amount of gil you spend.)
Lvl 29 - Almost all RSE has a use.
(Hume, Elvaan, and Galka: Macro in for SATA, if you do not have Leaping/Bounding/Winged Boots,
Mithra and Taru: Use in Melee, macro in +AGI after TA, or Leaping/Bounding/Winged Boots)
Lvl 30 - Noct Gaiters +1 (Get the plus one if you are able to, these will last until Jaridah/AF if you don't have Leaping/Bounding)
Lvl 55 - Jaridah Nails or the HQ Akinji Nails (Useful for those without Leaping/Bounding. Could be useful for your Ranged Attack set)
Lvl 59 - Tabin Boots +1 (Get the +1 if you are able to, +3 acc/eva is the best TP piece for your feet for a while)
Lvl 60 - Rogue's Poulaines (Macro these in for an additional added 15 sec of Flee)
Lvl 62 - Wood M Ledelsens or Wood F Ledelsens (You are an Elvaan are great for a Seperate TA build)
Lvl 63 - Feral Ledelsens
Lvl 72 - Dusk Ledelsens (Good TP piece)
Lvl 73 - Dragon Leggings
Lvl 73 - Hecatomb Leggings (Macro in for WS setup)
Lvl 73 - Assassin's Poulaines (Triple attack +1 and a big CHR boost for Dancing Edge)
Lvl 75 - Homam Gambieras (Amazing piece of gear for TP)

Neck -

Lvl 7 - Feather Collar +1 (Has a nice Ranged ACC on it for it's Lvl)
Lvl 7 - Rabbit Charm (This nifty little piece is both a blessing and a curse as it drops off the NM Jaggedy-Eared Jack in West Ronfaure. The drop rate is horrendous but if you do manage to get this, it will last you all the way to 75 in a Steal Macro)
Lvl 21 - Spike Necklace (Amazing piece at this Lvl for its +STR and +DEX.)
Lvl 33 - Peacock Amulet or Peacock Charm - (Drops off the NM Argus in Maze of Shakrami or it's counterpart from BCNM/OWNM - Very nice improvement to ACC. Macro in Spike Necklace for SATA)
Lvl 65 - Evasion Torque/Parrying Torque - (A great piece for evasion setups, for tanking or soloing tough mobs, the latter useful for skilling up parrying)
Lvl 72 - Elemental Gorgets (I will need to verify if these are obtainable of will be in the near future. If so, See the quest " In the Name of Science" - Weaponskill only. Adds a nice chunk (assumed to be +10) of accuracy to all hits of both Dancing Edge and Shark Bite, and increases fTP multiplier by +0.1)
Lvl 73 - Love Torque - (This piece is currently unavailable as it drops from Jailer of Love and as far as I know, IX-DRK NM isn't coded properly to get the pop item needed for JoL. I will confer with Nas soon to see if this will be available in the near future, if not, it will be removed from this list)

Waist -

Lvl 1 Blood Stone
Lvl 15 Warrior's Belt or +1 (For defensive purposes should you happen to pull hate)
Lvl 20 Key Ring Belt (Will need to verify if this quest is active on Nasomi. Macro in for SATA. Can be obtained only once a week from "Bait and Switch" quest. Cannot be bought)
Lvl 30 Mercenary Captain's Belt (SATA piece)
Lvl 40 Tilt Belt (Drops in the Lvl 40 BCNM "Under Observation" - For TP building. Use Merc Belt for SATA)
Lvl 43 Swordbelt +1 Attack is good for SATA.
Lvl 44 Headlong Belt (Drops off the NM Chonchon in Meriphataud Mountains. I will need to verify if this NM is active on Nasomi, if not, it will be removed from the list. Has a +4 ATT and +3% Haste)
Lvl 48 Life Belt Acc for TP building. Also good to use in Multi-hit Weapon skill. Macro in something else for SATA Viper Bite. Put on Dancing Edge.
Lvl 50 Swift Belt Haste is good for TP. Macro in something else for Weaponskill and sata
Lvl 50 Royal Knight's Belt upgrade from Mercenary Captain's Belt for SATA
Lvl 54 Virtuoso (Drops off the HNM King Arthro in Jugner Forest. Belt upgrade from Life Belt for Acc during TP building and Multi-hit WS)
Lvl 55 Speed Belt (Higher haste than Swift belt, less acc. Either will work to your advantage, though this belt is favored)
Lvl 71 Warwolf Belt (Excellent weapon skill macro-in piece for all situations)
Lvl 75 Ninurta's Sash - (this piece is currently unavailable due to Jailer of Love not being able to be popped. Will remove from list upon confirmation whether it will be implemented in the future. Haste is the same as Speed Belt with added attack but drop (for mini quest) is from Absolute Virtue (item: Sin of Indignation)

Back -

Lvl 4 Rabbit Mantle
Lvl 12 Traveler's Mantle
Lvl 21 Night Cape
Lvl 24 Nomad's Mantle +1 (if you can afford it)
Lvl 47 Jaguar Mantle (Obtain from the quest "For the Birds" in Oldton Movalpolos)
Lvl 55 Republican Army Mantle (Purchased in Bastok w/ 24k Conquest Points. +2 dex makes it a good macro piece for SA/SATA. The VIT bonus isn't bad to have either)
Lvl 61 Amemet Mantle great, affordable. Amemet Mantle +1 suggested. Will last you to the end.
Lvl 70 Boxer's Mantle - (Obtained with 75 Ancient Beast Coins. Great cape to have. +10 evasion shield and parry. Great piece to tank/solo with)
Lvl 70 Assassin's Cape - (Obtained in Dynamis)
Lvl 72 Toreador's Cape (I will need to verify if the NM that drops this piece is active on Nasomi. If not, it will be removed from the list. Evasion cape with added Enmity for instances when you are evasion tanking.
Hidden effect: Dramatically increases the rate of critical hits taken. At least +40% Critical Hit rate taken)
Lvl 75 Cerberus Mantle +1 (The best Weapon skill item although getting an HQ might prove to be extremely challenging on Nasomi)

Earrings -

Lvl 16 - Bone Earring - (+1 suggested, Melee Earring)
Lvl 21 - Beetle Earring - (+1 suggested, Melee Earring) Usable to lvl 55)
Lvl 29 - Dodge Earring - (Soloing purposes.)
Lvl 30 - Genin Earring - (Drops from 3 seperate Lvl 30 BCNM's.pricey, one of the best earrings, effect works with /NIN)
Lvl 35 - Drone Earring - (if you don't have Genin or are not /NIN.)
Lvl 40 - Intruder Earring - (Will need to verify if this NM is active on Nasomi. Dex+1 Agi+1; Don't forget this earring if you have it, or have some freetime to camp the level 55 NM, Centurio XII-I)
Lvl 55 - Spike Earring - (Good upgrade, use until lvl 63)
Lvl 61 - Minuet Earring - (Drops from a Lvl 30 BCNM. I have to verify if this piece is coded in Nasomi. Good for BRD parties)
Lvl 63 - Coral Earring / Merman's Earring
Lvl 65 - Diabolos's Earring - (A free source of accuracy on your ear slot.)
Lvl 70 - Pixie Earring - (DEX+3, Best Sneak Attack earring however, it drops off King Behemoth in Behemoth's Dominion. I've seen a few people with this on Nasomi soooo Happy hunting! XD - Side note: Confirmed by SE that Treasure Hunter DOES NOT affect the drop rate on either Pixie Earring OR Defending Ring due to it being a 100% drop slot. Either Item WILL drop in the loot pool, which one is the elusive question? ^^)
Lvl 72 - Suppanomimi - (Available as a choice of earrings upon completion of Divine Might mission. Increases rate of attack slightly with a Ninja subjob.)
Lvl 75 - Brutal Earring - (Excellent TP gain earring obtained from 75 Ancient Beastcoin purchase.)
Lvl 75 - Novia Earring - (Again, this piece is currently unavailable due to not being able to spawn Jailer of Love. This is a potential drop from Absolute Virtue. Evasion +7, definetly good for soloing)

Rings -

Lvl 1 Bastokan Ring/San d'Orian Ring/Windurstian Ring
Lvl 14 Courage Ring (For Melee)
Lvl 14 Balance Ring (For SATA)
Lvl 30 Rajas Ring (This is the cream of the crop, hands down the Best ring for melee in the game. 1 of 3 possible rewards for finishing CoP)
Lvl 34 Venerer Ring (This ring is quested beginning in Rabao however, there is a point in the quest you will need to zone into Lufaise Meadows via the Swirling Vortex in Valkurm Dunes. To access this area, You MUST have completed the first 3 Promyvion areas in CoP: Holla, Dem, Mea. Good ring for TP building)
Lvl 35 Jaeger Ring (Will have to confirm if this NM is active on Nasomi. Dropped from Carmine Dobsonfly in Riverne - Site #A01)
Lvl 36 Puissance Ring (Minor dmg boost while TP building)
Lvl 36 Deft Ring (Gives a +3 to DEX)
Lvl 40 Sniper's Ring/Sniper's Ring +1 (Good ACC ring)
Lvl 54 Grace Ring (Will last you until at least 72 for your Weapon skill)
Lvl 65 Lightning Ring (Awesome macro item, +15 Accuracy and Ranged Accuracy every Lightningday)
Lvl 72 Spinel Ring or it's HQ counterpart Adroit Ring (Endgame DEX ring for weapon skills)
Lvl 74 Thunder Ring (Great Dex source for your Weapon skills in a ring)
Lvl 75 Mars's Ring (Again, this only drops from Absolute Virtue so it is currently unavailable)

There you have it folks! All the info you will need to put your Thief in its best possible potential. Look forward to seeing all of you ingame so get out there and have fun!!

Good post, though just to clear up some inaccuracies:

-Denali, and all Nyzul Isle assault gear is currently not obtainable.
-None of the Dragon Harness set is currently obtainable.
-Velocious belt is the belt from King Arthro, which is a rare/ex version of Speed Belt. Virtuoso Belt is dropped from an NM in West Sarubaruta [S], so it is not obtainable.

-All Homam gear is obtainable.
-Headlong Belt currently not obtainable.
-Toredor Cape currently not obtainable.
-Novia Earring drops from Jailer of Love, not Absolute Virtue, but is, as you said, not currently obtainable.
-Intruder Earring can be obtained.

-Assault Jerkin is obtainable on Nasomi, and was/is always dropped from the NM 'Ose', not Sandworm Serket.
-Antaress Harness is the drop from Sandworm Serket, and is not currently obtainable.
-Elemental Gorgets from Sea can be obtained.
-Here on Nasomi, Simurgh drops the Strider's Boots, not the Trotter's Boots.

And finally, pretty sure you'd always main hand P.Harpe unless you had the relic weapon, and offhand the Sirocco Kris.
I think it may also be worth mentioning Snakeeye for a boomerang, has an additional effect of poison on it that, if it works, should activate 100% of the time. If nothing else though, has a nice Regen effect for when a situation for it arises. Crafted with materials from Hydra, that are currently only obtainable through Pandemonium Warden.

Like I said though, good post, don't take offence to these notes/corrections!

Dunno how old that post is but novia is obtainable these days. Also, one thing thfs might want to consider. Trick attack hitting is very fickle on this server. I suspect that it is not taking the players Y into account(height) and this is why trick attack will miss if the monster is elevated above the player. An example is some of the small rocks by the garliage gate 1 camp. If the mob is standing on that rock and you go to set up a SATA, the trick attack will miss.

You want to make sure the ground is flat when setting up SATA's to avoid complications.

Had no idea! Thx!

Is Blau Dolch still viable at 75? Sorry, havent played the game in 5 years but I remember that being the best lvl 75 cap dagger besides relic.

Blau is not currently obtainable on this server, unfortunately. ENM's don't work right now, but I think it's on the list of things Nas is going to fix someday.
