Post subject:  Thieves are the hidden Dunes OP
Want to provide a skillchain that will murder pugils at level 16 for over 300 EXP near instant? Bring a THF to the dunes.

You know who is the dunes THF best friend? Summoner. Summoner can burst over 120 with Ramuh.

my thf does does pretty well in the dunes, sword sneak attack / fast blade works pretty well. but also from lvl 14 you can pretty much double your damage with archery just using cheap iron arrows from a shop in bastok.

How to not suck as THF in the Dunes.

Step 1: Don't use a dagger.
Step 2: ???
Step 3: Profit!

Seriously though, if you want to level THF in the dunes, I recommend leveling MNK to 10 (if you haven't done so already) and then taking the Hand-to-hand skills you got on MNK on THF to get a head start on being an awesome H2H THf doing 300+ combos in the dunes u wot m8?! (Also THF/MNK works because of martial arts Job trait. :<) Using a RA of choice between melee swings helps with DPS and TP gain. :)

THF doesn't necessarily suck... it's usually 95% of people who play it because they ironically level it to gain gil... right? :<

My father was a thf in retail and he use to farm in random places and he would occassionally get asked for help from other thf's for help farming coffer keys....he would just explain that they were a thf and can pick locks lol.

Also he was farming in one area and a pld ls mate wanted a guide to somewhere and he told her to not fight things or she would die, being a pld she thought she was tough. She fought a bunny and was getting killed so as a lower level thf he took hate and saved her. Thf is a great job if you know how to play it lol.
