I know bolts are super nice but leveling that with how misses work ( not pulling aggro or skilling up not sure if its a bug or not) is going to be a major gil sink. Should I just suck it up and drop the money on bolts or get a boomerang and invest in gear? |

It 100% is a bug that ranged attacks do not claim mobs on misses. It will be fixed shortly, there will be a maint this week (maybe Tuesday, the day the Halloween event ends). |

As someone currently leveling DRK by just spamming crossbow, it's not that bad with it capped. I'd still level it.. they're basically OP. |

Step 1: buy a few stacks of "crossbow bolt", they're 3-6 gil each from vendors in the capitals. Step 2: find a worm around your level Step 3: silence it somehow (protip: drk has both enfeebling and marks skill, just sub whm for silence) or bring an alt to keep you healed Step 4: shoot the worm until you get bored |
