they didn’t even know it could be used outside of town and then use the spell as much as you want until you zone. You jumped right to that illegal situation and it felt like you were accusing them of doing this or even thinking about it. they were just sharing their experience where they tried to use the scroll, didn’t know it wasn’t allowed or enabled and lost their money.

sure. and yet again Iridial staff (2012 item during VW level 99 Era) exists 20 additional MACC but no reprisal..

Like the context of: Nabutso was giving advice for everyone, not one specific situation.

On this topic, I added a warning on the White Mage, Red Mage and Paladin pages about spells that are out of era and shouldn't be purchased. I think DRK has some too, once I get to doing that page it'll have the warning too. If you know of any other spell that is out of era, or one I added that isn't and actually works, please edit the wiki. Thanks!

It has been added purposefully by Nasomi, for ease of play and convenience, this is different. I think Composure has been allowed on Red Mage intentionally too for the same reason? It's one of those "out-of-era but we want it anyway" things.
