The purpose of this thread: Muse, gripe, or wax philosophically about a change that has happened since you first started playing - or any change, really. But keep it BST-centric. Examples: pre-MPK patch, soloing pre-CoP, long HNM fights before rage timers, reward not giving regen to pets, etc. You don't need to actually like the old school stuff more; this is more of a nostalgia thing to see what we can recount from way back when. Here's my first: Back in my day, we didn't have no xp bands and we liked it just fine! We soloed to 75 without level-capped areas and before the xp per mob was increased because that's just the way it was, dangit. |

Back in my day, BST had to swoop in to save the day by breaking up giant mob trains in zones. I'll never forget dismantling a cluster of soldier crawlers in the sac room in Crawler's Nest before raising a room full of dead nubs, and all the panties that were dropped that day.
