I completely understand the utility of /nin. I had a 75brd and nin back on retail. It's just NIN will end up being one of my main jobs and I don't want to level a gimp one to 37. When I finally dedicate myself to NIN, I want to have really good gear

You literally only nin utsusemi:ichi and people won't care too much about it being level 12 if you are not terribad.

You'll consume less shadows with /NIN37, but it's not really a game breaker. Once you get to Seaboard Vultures you better have it though.
