Post subject:  Hasso + Zanshin Double Attack questions?

Hey, just looking to clarify some mechanics.

Hasso can cause Zanshin hits to proc on attacks that hit. Wiki says the rate is "Base Zanshin Rate /4".

1. Does this proc on weapon skills? I don't think it does in retail, but looking for confirmation for Nasomi

2. Do +Zanshin effects increase the rate of Hasso "Double Attacks" as well, or is it ONLY your base unmodified rate/4? Does Nana interact with this somehow?

3. Does the bonus TP from Ikishoten apply to Hasso "Double attacks" or not?

Thanks in advance. :)

Zanshin procs on misses not hits

1. Zanshin does not proc on whiffed weapon skills.

2. Zanshin and double attacks are different things. I don't remember if Zanshin procs on the miss of a Double attack. Nana guarantees a zanshin extra attack on a whiff normal. (before Nana patch you used to keep swinging till you hit)

3. Unfortunately I don't know anyone who took the Ikishoten merits but it shouldn't since Zanshin and Double attacks aren't the same. (I took Overwhelm, Blade bash & Shikikoyo)

But, I actually think it just functions like DA on this server and one of the reasons Sam feels as strong as it does. Someone with more experience with Sam can speak better on it ^^

I am not asking about the base Zanshin trait. I am asking about interaction between Hasso and Zanshin, which allows Zanshin to proc on HITS at a reduced rate.

"Occasionally triggers Zanshin after landing a normal attack, only active while Samurai is set as Main Job. (Source: 7/12/11 Update)"

Thus functioning similarly (not not identically) to Double Attack. Which is where the specific questions arise about how the effects differ.

*edit* And if we are consistent with retail, Zanshin does infact proc on missed weapon skill. There is no difference in the log from a hit though, so it's an "invisible" bonus.
